We Transform Ambassador Agent Sasco hosts Games Day at the Metcalfe Street Secure Juvenile Centre

December 3, 2019Creative Minds, Education, Institution, Life Skills, Ministry of National Security, Outreach, RehabilitationSantana Salmon

The Boys from Metcalfe Street enjoyed an afternoon of games and entertainment courtesy of We Transform Ambassador Jeffrey ‘Agent Sasco’ Campbell and special guest Asafa Powell and Chief Technical Director in the Ministry of National Security Mr. Rohan Richards.

The boys enjoyed a variety of games including: dominoes, bingo, monopoly, checkers, cards, ludo and others.

The afternoon provided the opportunity for the We Transform mentors to bond with boys over various games.

Sasco took the opportunity to remind the boys that they still have the time and opportunities to make better life decisions “where you are now may seem like a setback but I want to remind you that hope is not lost because Asafa and myself and several others like us are here and willing to help you to make more conscious decisions that will improve your life. All you need to do is apply yourselves and make use of the opportunities and the possibilities are endless.”

Superintendent for the Metcalfe Street Secure Juvenile Centre Miss Karen Elliott took the opportunity to extend appreciation to Agent Sasco for his dedication to the development of the boys at Metcalfe Street. “I would like to say thank you to our ambassador Mr. Campbell for your continuous support it is greatly appreciated and I know you have made a significant impact in the lives of the boys here and we are forever grateful for your contribution to youth development.” — Superintendent Karen Elliott

The Department extends thank you to the We Transform team for spearheading this event. Special thanks to KFC Jamaica and Pizza Hut Jamaica for providing refreshments for the event.
