Friends of Children Incarcerated is a charity organization founded by Corporal Rickane Scott and the late Superintendent Leon Clunis from the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
In honour of his work and legacy the group made the donation to show that Superintendent Clunis was not just a stalwart who gave his life for his country, but one who had a big heart for at risk youths across Jamaica.
“I know if he was here today he would have been right here with me”, shared corporal Scott. He further added that “despite him not being here I want to show that there are members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force who care about the future of our youths and are willing to assist in their growth and development so they can become the leaders of tomorrow.”
Friends of Children Incarcerated has been partnering with the DCS since 2017 with the aim of assisting incarcerated children as well as children with incarcerated parents.
